We are a fellowship of Christians who commit to study and apply God's holy word to our every day lives, to pray, to worship and to reach out to others as we strive to carry out the great commission Christ gives the church. The Bible describes Jesus working through his followers to build the church.

The Bible describes Jesus working through his followers to build the church. Being a member of the church is synonymous with being a disciple, making a commitment to the Body of Christ, working with others in Christian love to grow the church.

What Are the Steps To Become a Member of the Church?

We encourage you to come as you are and we will meet you where you are on your faith journey. If you have been active in another church or if you are a relatively new believer, or if you are a seeker looking to explore a relationship with Jesus Christ, please come. Because people come to the faith and to the church from different experiences and at different places on their journey, we do not define a prescribed number of classes or meetings independent of where a person is.

After meeting with the minister as needed and both the minister and the new-member-to-be agree the necessary foundation for membership is in place then a meeting is scheduled with a sub-group of Session (the local church board) to accept the new person into membership. Thereafter, an induction occurs during the next convenient worship service where the congregation welcomes and celebrates the new member.

We are redeveloping our new member orientation to ensure new members are nurtured to enhance their own spiritual health and also plugged in as they prayerfully decide what is the best way for them to serve others within and from the Body of Christ.
